RingStones is a modern version of the very ancient game of Nim.  In classic Nim, the game stats with several heaps or rows of objects.  The players alternate taking objects from the piles, until they are all gone.  Depending on the version of the game, the winner is either the person who takes the last object, or who forces the other player to take the last one.

 

This is the Full version.  It allows 2 Human players (instead of a single Human versus the Computer), and up to 3 rings of stones.  Once you can beat the Computer, try taking on your friends.

 

There are definite strategies for Nim.  However, the circular form, and the variable number of stones in the starting formation make things a bit more difficult...
